We went to Kesar Bagh for an early dinner, and the experience was absolutely amazing. The food was rich, flavorful, and delicious. I would definitely recommend trying any of their mutton dishes.
The staff is extremely courteous and genuinely makes sure you’re comfortable throughout your visit.
A special shout-out to Rohit, who attended to us. He was very helpful in explaining the menu and the different dishes.
Also, the owner, Azaan Qureshi, was kind enough to take some time out after dinner to check on us. He shared some wonderful insights about the place, the cuisine, and his family background, explaining how everything is beautifully connected.

This place opened a while back right next to our house, and I’m honestly glad we finally made it in. If you’ve been thinking about trying it, just go.
The Kakori is the reason to come, and the paan is seriously too good. But you’ll quickly find another 10 reasons to come back. The food feels thoughtful without trying too hard, and it’s a solid take on Indian dining.
Hospitality is top-notch. Pushkar, the restaurant manager, clearly knows what he’s doing, and Yuvraj was an excellent server who added to the whole Indian dining experience.
You’ll come here for the Kakori, but you’ll come back for everything else.

I visited this place on 16th August 2026 for lunch . I ordered Shahi Nihari , Butter naan and Shahad -e-jam ( Gulab-jamun dipped in honey and garnished with Pistachio) .
Everything tasted so good , particularly Shahi Nihari . I have tasted the Shahi Nihari of Kareem's in Jama Masjid , Delhi ; however Karim's Nihari was not half as good as the one they serve here . It was so subtle and they had used so little oil and spices and yet it tasted so good .
Service was excellent with all the boys proficient in good English . Ambience was also great .
I have decided to visit this place on every weekend .

Kesar Bagh in Assagao is spectacular. I went there twice within 2 days just because the food and experience are that good.
You must visit for the Kakori Kebab alone. It is hands down the best I have ever tasted. It is pure silk on a plate and so incredibly smooth that it literally melts the second it hits your tongue. The culinary artistry is unmatched.
The drinks are also great and pair beautifully with the rich flavors. What rounds out the experience is the amazing service.
A shoutout to Aanvi at the reservations front desk for a seamless welcome, and to Prashant and Yuvraj for their flawless hospitality and incredible table recommendations. They looked after us perfectly.

A very good place to stop by if you're craving some lip smacking dishes.The ambience,the vibe,the service,the promptness everything is a 10/10.Special mention to them curating a experience for you by explaining each and every dish.Food so good it melts in the mouth.Soft,Crispy,Juicy and flavourful.Especially the Goa Special Chicken.They have also put some extra effort in the decor mentioning the royal theme very correctly.You also get a good nature retreat while awaiting your order.Which they won't be disappointing you for sure.If you're in North Goa do stop by to experience this really cozy-home like feeling with some warmth in the food and your welcome as well.

Three things Goa isn't known for: Awadhi biryani, Lucknowi kebabs, and ITC-level hospitality at a standalone restaurant. Kesar Bagh delivers all three.
The Dum Biryani is the real deal the best in Goa, no contest. The mutton kebab literally melted in my mouth, the kind of slow-cooked perfection that Awadhi cuisine is built on. The cocktails are curated with an intention you rarely see outside of bigger cities.
And then there's the service. Prashant, if you're reading this, you set the standard. Attentive, warm, always smiling. The kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a guest in someone's home, not just another table.
Don't skip this place. Seriously.

Had an amazing experience at Kesar Bagh! The food was absolutely top-notch rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really feel the royal Awadhi touch in every dish, from the kebabs to the mains.
Their cocktails are equally impressive the Mango Chilli Picante and Berry Base were exceptionally well-crafted and refreshing.
A big highlight of our visit was "Harshit" who is easily the best cocktail expert and a fantastic host. His warm personality and amazing vibe added so much to the overall experience.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food, creative drinks, and top-notch hospitality in Goa.

Kesar Bagh was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The food is rich in both flavour and legacy. The kebabs and desserts were exceptional, and every dish felt thoughtfully put together- the craft is visible. The space itself is stunning, with decor that's unique. The service was genuinely warm. A special mention to Santosh, who took the time to understand our preferences and got us some of the best dishes on the menu. His recommendations were spot on!

What a fantastic experience at Kesar Baag, Goa! The entire vibe of the place is just beautiful — a stunning Portuguese-style bungalow surrounded by lush greenery, creating such a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere.
A special mention to Chef Azaan Qureshi — absolutely amazing work by him. The food was outstanding and full of flavor. I tried the kakori in Kebab, Mutton Biryani, and Gulab Jamun… and honestly, every dish was exceptional. A complete must-try!

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding and the service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The staff were very proactive and friendly.
The cocktail menu deserves special mention, each drink was beautifully crafted, balanced and full of flavours. Among the dishes the Nehari was rich, comforting and packed with depth, while the Kakori kebabs were incredibly tender and melted in the mouth. The lobster was cooked to perfection, fresh and succulent and the biryani was fragrant, flavourful and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The perfect end to the meal was the amazing Shahi Tukday.
Every dish showcased excellent quality and attention to detail. Special shoutout to the great Chef Azaan Qureshi. The chef’s thoughtful hospitality and commitment to quality made the experience even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable meal. Had an excellent dining experience! The food was absolutely amazing, and this was already my third visit in just 10 days—which says it all.
A special mention to Prashant and Sunny for their warm hospitality and attentive service. They made us feel truly welcome throughout the meal.
The highlight of the evening was the Biryani paired with Baigan Mirchi Salan, a fantastic recommendation from the manager. The flavors were outstanding and complemented each other perfectly.

Then comes the hospitality. Mr. Akshay Mishra absolutely steals the show with his personal touch, warmth, and the way he patiently helps you select dishes while explaining every detail so beautifully.
And the grand finale for me was personally meeting the Kesar — the Badshah of food himself, Mr. Azaan Qureshi. The way he explained his vision for food and the incredible legacy he carries forward was genuinely inspiring. You can truly see the lineage of Padma Shri Imtiaz Qureshi Sahab reflected in every aspect of the experience and in the hands behind the food.

Great location. Excellent ambience.
Outstanding food - especially the mutton . The Raan and the Kakoris are to die for- although I thought the Raan could have done with a tad less gravy and spices. The Raan at The Bukhara restaurant is my benchmark so .. some others may like the higher level of spice but that didn’t work for me!
All this followed by a shared portion of their own Kulfi was the icing on the cake. Lived upto my expectations - totally. Will be back to try their Biriyani and Nihari one lunch time. 👏👏

A perfect example of when passion triumphs business.
Attention to detail was just so so soo perfect. From the menu to the cutlery everything was in a perfect sync.
Our server santosh ensured that we have no issues and took a lot of effort to explain us and help us achieve the best experience! He even got us an off the menu item because he felt that would suit us better and boy that was the best seekh kilafi kebab I have had in my life
If you are in Goa and like food - this is an unmissable spot for you!

My friends & I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Kesar Bagh The food was truly exquisite. Each dish was rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with great attention to detail. The ambience added to the experience, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it perfect for a relaxed meal.
What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Maddy, who served us was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Overall, a fantastic place and memorable experience.

It was a great place,just came back! One of the best places in goa by far !! My family came here as non vegetarian eaters and ordered what the manager recommended, as for drink we ordered lime soda and peach iced tea. The food was absolutely fab!! And the staff were really kind and helpful. Overall I enjoyed the whole experience of eating a diffrent cuisine. I would definitely come back !! Thank you Kesari bagh for making my lunch a splendid one !!

Yuwraj hosted the entire lunch for me and my friends. He has made us taste some real royal delicacies. Every dish had its uniqueness, taste and very right amount of flavours. Right from the cocktails to the desert the recommendations were top notch. Yuwraj takes pride in explaining the cooking style and some historical value based in the dishes he serves. I will certainly recommend you to visit this place.

Ordered the Gilafi kebab, kakori kebab, Chandi chicken with doodh naan and Shabnam (Ras malai). The Gilafi Kebab was beautifully flavoured and had the perfect texture. Kakori kebab was flavourful but I am not crazy about essenses however my sis loved it, so by all means one must try it. Chandi chicken was marinated in such a way that was subtle and Yum. Doodh naan was soft. Shabnam was the pièce de résistance, perfect ending to a delicious meal.

It was such an immersive experience. We stumbled upon this place. But what a pleasant surprise it was.
The good was exceptional, so was the service . The fact that you have your own space to experience the food, immerses you in the flavours. Everything including the Shahad Gulab was amazing. Left us wanting more.
